Membership

Membership at Klustret Ekskäret

Klustret Ekskäret is a member-driven, non-profit association that supports inner development and creates spaces for co-creation, where people and organisations can contribute to a more conscious and sustainable society.

As a member, you gain access to Klustret and become a co-creator of it.

A different kind of membership

Below, you’ll find our membership levels, each with a different financial contribution to Klustret. All levels offer the same access. The difference lies in how much you choose to contribute.

We use this model because you are best placed to decide what a reasonable contribution means for you, based on:

  • The value Klustret brings to you

  • How much you use Klustret

  • The resources available to you

  • How you contribute in other ways

Membership is built on trust, responsibility and a shared desire to create something greater than ourselves.

Membership levels

For Klustret to be sustainable in the long term, members need to contribute an average of SEK 1,250 per month. How much you choose to contribute depends on how often you use Klustret, the resources available to you and how you contribute in other ways.

Questions & Answer

1. How do I become a member?

Fill out the application form above. The Membership Circle will then contact you for the next step.

2. Can I change my membership level both up and down?

Yes. The idea behind the model is that your contribution should be able to change over time. If your circumstances or your use of the Cluster change, you can adjust your membership level for each new quarter.

3. How is my membership fee invoiced?

Your membership fee is invoiced quarterly in advance.

4. What is the notice period for my membership at the Cluster?

The notice period is three months.

5. Do I have to contribute with volunteer work?

No. Non-profit involvement is not a formal requirement for membership. At the same time, the Cluster is a member-run non-profit association and we depend on many members helping to run our operations. As a benchmark, we would like to see a contribution equivalent to approximately two hours per month.

6. What happens if everyone chooses the lowest membership level?

The model is based on us taking responsibility together for the long-term sustainability of the Cluster. Our experience is that people are fully capable of making reasonable assessments of their own contribution when they are given transparency, responsibility and trust. Together we continuously monitor the economy and are open about how the business is developing.

7. Is it transparent which membership levels members have chosen?

No. Membership level selection is only shared with those responsible for finances and membership administration.
