Artificial intelligence is advancing at an unprecedented pace, promising efficiency, innovation, and new capabilities. Yet, this very progress gives rise to complex dilemmas—redefining power structures, amplifying ethical concerns, and challenging human agency. In this session, Prof. Jonathan Schad and Prof. Saeed Khanagha will explore the paradox of progress: how AI’s rapid evolution brings both opportunities and unintended consequences. Through a multi-dimensional lens, we will examine the tensions shaping the future of AI and the difficult choices societies and organizations must confront.
